Prayers

Some of the most common prayers that anyone can say. Honestly they are not just for Catholics. They where given by Jesus for all of us. They where written by Saints and Martyrs for all of us.

My Favourite would have to be The Our Father, The Hail Mary and the Glory Be, the collective make up the Rosary.

I also love the Hail Holy Queen, The Creed although there are many versions, the prayer said at Pentecost [ that was the day that Holy Spirit came down upon the Disciples of Jesus and gave them the courage to preach to the masses].

Our Father
Who Art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this Day
Our Daily Bread
and Forgive us our Trespasses
As we forgive Those who Trespass Against Us
and Lead us Not into Temptation
But Deliver us from All Evil
Amen

For Thine is the Kingdom
The Power and the Glory
Amen

Hail Mary
Full of Grace
Blessed Art Thou Amongst Women
And Blessed is the Fruit of thy Womb Jesus

Holy Mary
Mother of God
Pray for Us Sinners
Now and at the Hour of our Death
Amen

Glory Be
To the Father
And to The Son
and to The Holy Spirit
As it was in the Beginning
is now and ever shall Be
World Without End
Amen

These three prayers create a powerful collection called the Rosary. You do not need beads you can use the fingers on your hands.

Say One Our Father
Ten Hail Mary's
and One Glory Be
You have completed One Decade of the Rosary a powerful prayer Against All Evil.

Say 5 Decades and you have Completed One Sector of Four

It used to be 15 Decades to a Rosary
But the Late Pope John Paul II God Rest his Soul
Decreed one more group of 5 Decades

We now have 20 Decades
Each Section of 5 is seperated by Mysteries, things that happened to Jesus and his Mother through their lives.
Sorrowful, Joyful, Glorious and the Mysteries of Light.
